What is the Opal & Oak layering ritual?
The Opal & Oak layering ritual is a simple way to build moisture and fragrance in intentional steps. Begin with Body
Wash to cleanse, follow with Nourishing Body Elixir and Whipped Body Butter to moisturize and nourish, then finish
with Perfume Oil to deepen your scent experience.
Do I need to use all four products together?
Not at all. Each Opal & Oak product can be enjoyed on its own. Layering allows you to build your ritual based on the
level of moisture and fragrance you prefer—whether that means one product, a few favorites, or the complete
four-step ritual.
In what order should I layer my products?

02 Anoint — Nourishing Body Elixir
03 Nourish — Whipped Body Butter
04 Fragrance — Perfume Oil

What is the difference between the Nourishing Body Elixir and Whipped Body Butter?
The Nourishing Body Elixir is a lightweight body oil designed to soften, condition, and enhance the skin’s natural
radiance. The Whipped Body Butter is richer and more concentrated, providing deeper nourishment while helping
seal in moisture. They can be used separately or layered together—apply the Elixir first, followed by the Body Butter.

What does “Reminiscent of” mean?
“Reminiscent of” identifies the fragrance that inspired a particular scent profile and helps you understand what the
fragrance may smell like before purchasing. Opal & Oak is an independent brand and is not affiliated with, endorsed
by, or associated with the referenced fragrance houses or brands.
How do I choose the right scent for me?
Use the scent notes and fragrance profiles on each product page to explore the scents that best match your
preferences. If you’re unsure where to begin, the Discovery Set allows you to experience the collection before
committing to full-size products.
How long does the fragrance last?
Fragrance longevity varies based on the product, your skin, environment, and how the fragrance is layered. Using
multiple products in the same scent can help build a more noticeable and lasting fragrance experience, with Perfume
Oil providing the most concentrated fragrance layer.
Can I mix and match different Opal & Oak scents?
Absolutely. While each scent can be layered with its matching products, you’re also encouraged to mix fragrances and
create a ritual that feels uniquely yours.
Do you offer samples or a Discovery Set?
Yes. Our Discovery Set offers a smaller-format introduction to the Opal & Oak ritual, allowing you to experience the
products and fragrance before purchasing full sizes.
PRODUCT CARE
Are Opal & Oak products suitable for sensitive skin?
Everyone’s skin is different. We recommend reviewing the ingredient information provided for each product and
performing a patch test before full use, particularly if you have sensitive skin or known fragrance sensitivities.
Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
How should I store my products?
Store Opal & Oak products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Keep containers
securely closed when not in use to help maintain product quality.
Will my Whipped Body Butter melt in warm weather?
Because our Whipped Body Butter is made with rich plant butters and oils, its texture can naturally soften or melt when
exposed to high temperatures. We take care when preparing orders for shipment, but temperature changes during
transit are outside of our control.
What should I do if my Body Butter arrives softened or melted?
If your Whipped Body Butter arrives softened, place it in a cool area and allow it to return to room temperature before
opening. If it has melted significantly, place the closed jar in the refrigerator briefly until it firms, then return it to room
temperature before use. Melting may change the whipped texture or appearance, but it does not necessarily mean the product is unusable.
ORDERS & SHIPPING
How long will it take for my order to ship?
Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Orders are shipped
Monday through Wednesday to help minimize extended time in transit, particularly for our temperature-sensitive products.
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Delivery times will vary based on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.
During launches, holidays, promotions, or periods of high order volume, processing times may be slightly longer.
What is your return or exchange policy?
Due to the nature of our body care and fragrance products, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or
exchanges.
If your order arrives damaged during transit or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of
delivery with your order number and clear photos of the shipping packaging and affected product(s). We will review
the issue and work with you to provide an appropriate resolution.
